Rain

"I always like walking in the rain, so no one can see me crying."

I'm a jerk

I've been a jerk lately. I don't know where the anger comes from. It seems that every thing can provoke me, irritate me.

I need to bury myself in the books again. Only there can I find peace of mind.

When it's not perfect, perfect it

Don't linger on the past. It's gone and you cannot change it. When the past was not perfect, great, there's space for progress. Never lose heart when there's still a chance. Sometimes we don't have next-time, but when you do have, you should be grateful. When you're in your twenties, keep in mind that you're invincible, nothing can beat you.

My junior year begins

It's great to get back to school. Although the same people, same greetings do not bring up much interest, the sense of having-something-to-do is actually better than having-nothing-to-do while I was at home. Anyway, this year is a critical year, either for my studies or for my future career. Michael Western(Burn Notice) said that "If you're already daydreaming about retirement, you're not cut out for this kind of work." If I keep on daydreaming about the prosperous future, I'll spend the rest of my life daydreaming about it. Get real and get some sleep.

There are some people you cannot thank enough

There are some people I cannot thank enough. I'll remember them, all in my heart. I'll use the strength they gave me to fight for a better life. I promise.

Looking up at the sky

I walked alone on the playground these couple of days. After all day's sun-burning, the ground was still hot. The heatwave just rose from beneath. I don't like staying at the dorm, especially at that hour. Walking outside is kind of relaxing. The breeze blowing from the lake took away some sweat and gave an instant cool brush. When looking up at the sky, I found the stars are scanty, not as many as I used to see. Some are twinkling, some are gleaming constantly. Walking alone enabled me to think more clearly. Reflecting on the day, I felt a little sad though it was not grief. The third semester kept us from leaving yet provided no-good-to-do idleness. What I'm gonna do next year? I am no longer sophomore. People are ambitious, some are aggressive. I felt it very hard to start my career as I liked. There are so many restrictions, so many limitations. I wish I can work like my cousin. Yet I know his success came from his diligence and hard work. I always look up to him. He earns himself a good life by working hard. He materialized his American Dream. Looking up at the sky, I knew I should keep up with my work.

You'll never know until the end, the real end

Dramatic, really dramatic... last minute... congratulations on the US team, and hope England will have better performance in the following games

Done with the French exam

It's been an excruciating week because almost every night I had to cram a lot of knowledge into my brain. I know I should have been studying regularly, but it's easier said than done. Maybe I should try to study more regularly the following semester. Anyway, I should not loosen up now, there are still four exams to take. Keep working!!!

7-0

7-0 means what? I think North Korea could have played better IF they had been playing with the rest of the world.

procrastination

It's been a long time since the last time(two months ago?) I logged in. For the past couple of weeks, I experienced how inconvenient that the fucking great firewall brought about. Every time I tried to find scholistic information, the search results were either blocked or redirected to some inrelavant pages. I'm sick of this and sick of setting up vpn or using proxy to get through the GFW. It's excruciating and frustrating.
Anyway, this short note will help record my feelings.
Still, two papers to write, 6 exams to take, F_ck my life!!!
